Zero Waste Mann is to hold its AGM on Thursday, 8th May 2008, at the Green Centre, Chester Street, Douglas. The meeting will start at 7.00pm.
The organisation has had a good year, with the Green Centre becoming a popular destination for people seeking advice on everything from recycling sites to electric bicycles.
This year also saw the launch of the Green Centre Newsletter; the first edition being published in April.
Articles on Zero Waste, the DTI energy consultation, Transition IOM and a new marine organisation, Manx Sea Matters were among the subjects covered.
Details of how to get a copy can be obtained from the Green Centre. The Centre is usually open on Saturdays from 10.00am until at least 4.00pm.
