RNLI to hold ‘biggest fund raising day’

Font size: Decrease font Enlarge font

The Royal National Lifeboat Service is to hold a special fund raising event this Friday, 30th January 2009.

They are requesting that schools, offices, families and friends get involved by spreading the word and thinking up ways they can raise some money for the RNLI; whilst also having fun at the same time.

They suggest dress down days, cakes sales, or sporting events but of course it could be any number of other activities.

The RNLI relies on public donations to maintain their invaluable charity and service; and of course with such strong ties to the IOM it would be really appropriate for the Island to get 100% behind this appeal.
