								<content type="html">Again stating he was not looking for excuses, Mr McCallion said they had “a machine ready to fire up” and nearly had contracts signed that would have generated “millions of pounds in revenue”. He claimed they could have provided a far superior service to Manx Telecom, using their copper wires, and he had seen it work in Singapore. Local calls would have been free with a much lower tariff for other calls. </content>
