Former Clerk, Charles Lewin, is due to appear before the Tynwald Select Committee at 11.00 a.m. tomorrow (Friday 11th April) to answer questions about the part he played in the decision, of former DLGE Minister, John Rimington, to withdraw the draft Braddan Plan.

Mr Rimington determined that the draft plan was unsafe, owing to a double perception of bias; the second, involving Mr Lewin and his sale of land to Heritage Homes, during the review process, being the more serious.

Developer, Henry Kennaugh, whose company, Baccarat, claim their land was unfairly treated during the review process, by the planners and the Braddan Commissioners, is due to give further evidence to the Committee at 10.00 a.m.
