The third AGM of the Positive Action Group will be held on Monday 27th April 2009 at the Royal British Legion, Market Hill, Douglas.

PAG Chairman Roger Tomlinson says the organization is entering a critical stage in its development and hopes as many members, or new members, will attend; and help determine PAG’s future.

The meeting will commence at 7.00pm and once all the usual formalities have been dealt with a film ‘Darwin’s Nightmare’ (2004 - 107 minutes) will be screened at 8.00pm.

The film sounds intriguing and well worth seeing.

Huge cargo planes land and take-off from an airstrip on the shores of Lake Victoria.
What do they carry?
What affect do they have on local people?
This powerful documentary is a multi-faceted exploration of the impact of globalization
in heart of
Africa.

As usual the meeting is free and open to all; although only paid-up members will be able to vote in any elections etc during the AGM.
