Liberal Vannin is hosting a coffee morning and raffle from 10.30 to 12.30 next Saturday, 25 July at the Old School House, St Johns with half the proceeds going to Caaryn ny Gaegaly (Friends of the Language).

Peter Karran MHK, a Manx speaker himself, is delighted that the Manx language is becoming more popular, saying: “A few years ago the language had nearly died out. It is a totally different situation now with more and more people interested in learning Manx.”
